Parkopedia, the world’s leading digital parking service provider, has announced it will exhibit at the 2021 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai) – the most influential automotive event in China, taking place from 19-28 April 2021. Auto Shanghai will focus on autonomous, connected, electric and shared vehicles and technology that embrace change in the automotive industry and promote new market opportunities.

Parkopedia will demonstrate its on-street parking data product using a Desay SV head unit infotainment system, live at the show, to showcase the benefits and convenience of on-street parking data to the market. With the integration of both on and off-street parking data, drivers will have the complete picture of parking availability and pricing at their destination, enabling drivers to effortlessly select the best parking choice for their journey.

Parkopedia has also worked with i-Survey for the latest China drivers survey which will be first released at Auto Shanghai. The survey reveals the latest findings on driver preferences and trends from over 1600 respondents with some of the key factors that influence parking selection and the demands for various in-vehicle parking services.

A recent collaboration with Parkopedia covers the first in-vehicle transaction service integration in the Honda CONNECT 3.0 infotainment system which has been recently promoted as a key brand highlight for Honda. This will be displayed in a special experience zone in Honda’s exhibitor stand throughout the show. Major parking operators typically provide express payment options via smartphone, now Parkopedia has integrated this service into the Honda head unit to provide a superior in-vehicle seamless payment service, called ‘in-vehicle access & pay’ across the central urban areas of major cities nationwide.
