Parkopedia, the world’s largest provider of parking data and on-demand payment & reservation services to the automotive industry, announced today that it has been selected to provide Volkswagen with parking services globally.
The Parkopedia premium parking service includes off-street parking data and services, including dynamic space availability. The new service launched in July 2017 as part of VW Car-Net for both legacy and new vehicles.
“To provide parking data and services to Volkswagen globally is a real honour,” commented Parkopedia’s CEO Eugene Tsyrklevich. He added that “the footprint Volkswagen has in the automotive space is immense and the opportunity to work together to bring new and innovative parking solutions to such a wide breadth of drivers is extremely exciting”.
The announcement was made at Intertraffic 2018 held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
